Our vision is that: -
- There will be comprehensive and positive awareness of mental health throughout the borough of Brentwood
- The community will support, respect and encourage people who have suffered from poor mental health so that they are able to realize their potential as important members of the community.
We provide bridge building and drop-in services to structure the path to recovery for those with mental health issues in Brentwood. Anyone who is referred to us will be allocated a dedicated bridge builder with whom they will structure their path to recovery. Participating in groups run at Brentwood Mind and in the community, peer support from other service users may help increase their self esteem and confidence, allowing them to integrate into the community and lead independent lives. Brentwood Mind also offers Therapy for you services, including specialist employment advice again aimed at this same end.
Should you wish to contact us to make enquiries about the services we offer, opportunities to volunteer in the drop-in or as a trustee, then please contact our volunteer co-ordinator/mental health worker, Tony Robinson:
